A note of condolence for a friend of mine who lost the love of his life this week. Caroline will be missed, and you have so many friends to call on. Don’t hesitate to do so, my friend. You are in our hearts.

Marcus’ room is now almost ready and my office is 90% complete. This means that roughly 70% of the house’s clutter has found sensible homes and I can now move about without too much risk of injury. I am having less breakdowns in the centre of clutter mountain. However, after moving all the furniture for 3 days, my back now feels as though I’ve carried an elephant up Blackpool tower. Sore!

Episodes IV-VI of Star Wars on BluRay arrived today, as did the final parts of our new TV & speaker system, so tonight should be good. Might need popcorn!

In the meantime, I leave you with this (non-metal music fans switch off now)

  1. Progress is a wonderful thing….it relieves stress; you have new ways of looking at your treasures and it’s fun when you can sit down and realize what you have accomplished. Hope wifey is pleased as well.

The RV park we are at is having a ‘garage sale” Saturday. We have so much stuff to unload that we can hardly wait….what isn’t sold will be delivered to the nearest GoodWill center by Saturday afternoon.

    • You see I can’t go near garage sales, as I come back with armfuls of things I really don’t need. I love ‘em!

  3. I know I am responding weeks late… So sorry for the loss of your friend’s wife. And am further saddened by the treatment of the Pirates. I had heard a little about them and other groups, but I had no idea that they continued to be harassed. That war has never ended, and nver will. THEN we read about Bulgaria! Whatever they were building was nothing compared to what they destroyed. But at least your house in getting back in order. Take care, Si!
