All change
So, I’ve been largely incommunicado for the past week. Reason: time is very tight.
You see, I have finished with my 9-5 weekday work and am now working at home to try and make my living writing. It’s looking good so far, I have to admit. But there are hiccups too.
Although I’m only spending 4-5 hrs a day writing, I’m filling in all the rest of the time with chores. Wifey, for those of you who didn’t know, is heavily pregnant and our second child (sic. member of my army of darkness) is due on the 11th (a mere week’s time). Thus I am doing anything wifey can’t, as well as my chores. In addition, I know that I will not have time to do any writing during new child time and over Christmas, so it’s important to get ahead now.
Add to that the fact that big things may also be in the works book-production-wise, and that means my schedule just tightened further.
I think you can see why my absence, eh?
Heh heh heh.
Still, all is generally good with us. My writing continues, my homebrew is fermenting, wifey is nearly there and Marcus is a blur of high-speed giggling.
How are things with you?

What wonderful changes are afoot for your family!! May Wifey have a quick and easy delivery, and may you two not be too sleep deprived once the baby arrives. Haha. Have a very happy Christmas!

I wish you the very best of luck in all the new plans. I hope the new baby comes early so you all can settle in before the holidays. Sounds like your lives are making big strides in changing your futures. I can’t wait to hear all about it.

I hope all goes well for wifey on the December child thing, while you are waiting there, I will be waiting for my first Grandson over here. And here’s hoping for fabulous things on the book front too.

Dear Si, congratulations to you both, and to both bits of news. I know you have wanted to write full-time, and here it is. This is wonderful news. I am reading MM3 now and I LOVE IT. Really, it is (and here is that word that I avoid..) AWSOME. Everyone is in fine form and Rome is a super setting for Fronto. Hmm, a series with Fronto in Rome? Is that what you’re up to? Now onto your bigger news: the baby! Oh my gosh! Has time slipped by so quickly? It’s a good thing you aren’t at the 9-5 now – Wifey is gonna need you. Once again, congratulations!!!! Best wishes to Wifey! jules
