New Year
I am ridiculously sporadic here, I know. Here’s the thing: Time is the issue.
2012 holds fabulous promise for me in the literary world now that I am writing full time and have wonderful irons in the fire. However, because of this I’ve set myself a very tight schedule to finish the new book and am writing furiously with every spare minute.
Just over a week ago, our little girl Callie was born into this world with an innate hatred of lying still and being quiet. Callie’s arrival on the scene also heralded the end of all free time, as she appears to have absorbed all free minutes by some sort of osmosis.
So I’m not writing the blog as much as I was, haven’t updated my website, am less active on twitter, even. But it’s all temporary. Callie will settle over the month, and I should have finished the book by the end of January, and that means that then I should have time to stay a little more connected.
In the meantime, Happy New Year to one and all and I wish everyone a wonderful 2012.
Si

Same to you, Tracey, Callie and Marcus, Simon. I have a feeling 2012 will be a good year for us all.

Of course, you are pulled in all directions. Finishing up the book and getting acquainted with your little girl…not to mention making sure Marcus is enjoying his new status as a big brother and finding time to spend with your dear wife is so important. Congratulations again!
