Ridin’ High

leave a comment »

An exciting motorbike ride to work this morning.

Frosty roads combined with freezing fog make Moosehunter a nervous boy!

In fact, since the visor of my helmet is slightly more opaque than my leather jacket, I ride all the time with the visor up. This creates interesting situations in, say, torrential rain for an example. This morning, it meant that I gradually formed a snotcicle from the end of my nose and my glasses frosted up every two minutes.

On a frosty road where you really need to keep both hands on the handlebars it creates exciting moments when you realise you can no longer see your own hands and have to use one to wipe the lenses.

Ah joy.

And I’m fairly sure that it’s been gradually getting colder throughout the day, so I’m REALLY looking forward to the ride home.

Fun, fun, fun…
